Draft Record cannot access Google Docs cloud version history from an exported DOCX. Use the source document's own version-history view when you have access to it.
Open the cloud record
Google's official version-history instructions explain how editors can open File → Version history → See version history, review changes, and create named versions. Availability depends on access to the source document and account permissions.
What an export can and cannot provide here
An exported .docx is a package that Draft Record can inspect for the markers present in
that package. It does not give this site access to Google's cloud history. Draft Record makes no blanket
claim that every Google Docs export contains zero markers.
Preserve the source
If the version history may matter, preserve access to the original Google Doc and follow the policy that governs screenshots or exports. Do not treat a Draft Record result from a downloaded copy as a replacement for Google's own history.
